Dusty worked as a bus driver before he retired. He enjoyed that job. He enjoyed driving and he was a very good driver. He enjoyed the banter with the passengers and they enjoyed his humour and his kindness.
Sadly in 2006/2007 Dusty was diagnosed with PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Pulsy), a rare illness which over time can rob a person of the ability to walk, talk, feed themselves or communicate effectively with the world around them, yet they usually remain mentally alert.
Dusty had the bravery and courage to look this horrible illness in the eye and to face up to all its cruel stages.
